The latest victim of the death hoax, is Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen. Reports had started circulating on the internet on 12th July 2011 that the actor is dead. The fact is that the actor is alive and well.
The news of the fake death reports had surfaced just hours after a similar false rumour had claimed that Hugh Hefner has passed away. The fans of the actor after the fake reports were waiting for the news to be confirmed.
One of the users on Twitter had re-tweeted a fake Msnbc reports that had said that the actor was found dead in his Beverly Hills residence in the morning and that the cause of his death is unknown. On the contrary, another fan of the actor had tried to deny the reports.
The fan said that Charlie Sheen wasn’t dead and that he had just sent him a RT. The fan had also added that the actor had been tweeting regularly throughout the day. The rumours had originated from the reports that the ‘Two and a Half Men’ character is set to be killed off. Actor Ashton Kutcher was brought in place of Sheen in the upcoming series.
