Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe in a recent interview has revealed his problem with alcohol. The actor said that he has been sober since last summer, after he realized that he has got too much attached to alcohol.
Radcliffe in an interview with UK’s GQ had said that he has become reliant on alcohol to enjoy things. The star said that he had become used to live a life of a famous person’s lifestyle, which ultimately did not suit him.
The star then went on to reveal that he had started to drink whiskey, while on the sets of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in the year 2009. At that time the actor had some how dodged the media from portraying him as a party boy.
The Harry Potter star said that there were many instances when the paparazzi could have caught him red handed, which he had managed to avoid. The good thing is that unlike the other stars who realize pretty late and regret later, Radcliffe realized it pretty soon after he had completed the shooting of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The actor said that there is no shame in enjoying a quite life and this he had realized in the past few years.
