Tracy Morgan returns to Nashville for public apology

American actor and comedian, Tracy Morgan after his anti-gay remarks that he had made on 3rd June, had returned to Nashville on Tuesday. However, the comedian had returned with a purpose to apologize in person for the remarks at the Ryman Auditorium.

Just moments before Morgan had made a public apology, the actor had a meeting with the local as well as national gay rights advocates and the ones who had attended the event on 3rd June 2011. The actor had invited the Nashville lesbian couple 34 year old Wagner and 28 year old Katie Cleek to visit the set of the 30 Rock television show.

Morgan had told Kevin Rogers, who is a gay man from the White House that he hopes to have a lifelong friend in him. Later Roger, Wagner and Cleek had opined that Morgan’s apology had seemed sincere and that they would probably go to see his comedy routine again. Morgan had appeared in a purple stripes shirt and designer jeans, while he spoke for about five minutes to the local and national media gathered at the Convention Centre.

After the 3rd June show, this was Morgan’s second public apology. Morgan had said that this was an opportunity in his life to make a difference. The actor added that he does not see gay or straight, he just sees human beings now.
