American actress Natalie Portman on 14th June became a proud mother to a baby boy. The Oscar winning actress and her fiancé choreographer Benjamin Millepied have welcomed their first child.
The 30 year old actress was always known for maintaining her privacy regarding her personal life. But Portman did not shy away to announce her engagement as well as pregnancy and had come out openly about her recent developments.
In the month of December 2010, the actress had shared that she was immensely happy and very greatful to have this experience. When Portman was promoting for her romantic comedy ‘No Strings Attached’, the actress had revealed that she had received some great support from her friends and family and even from people, who were totally strangers.
After her major win last year in ‘Black Swan’, the actress had kept the media updated about her pregnancy and had not even shied away from showing off her baby bump in public. Benjamin and Portman had met in the year 2009 on the sets of the film ‘Black Swan’. By the end of 2009 the couple had started dating. A representative of the actress had announced on 27th December 2010 that the two were engaged and that they were expecting a new family member which is due in 2011.
