After the grand wedding ceremony of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the wedding dress of the Duchess of Cambridge, will soon be displayed for the public. The wedding dress will be displayed for the public at the Buckingham Palace in London.
The dress has been designed by 36 year old Sarah Burton, the creative director of the British Fashion House, Alexander McQueen. The wedding dress was well appreciated and will be displayed for the public for a closer look.
Certain media reports have said that the dress will be displayed at the Buckingham Palace from 3rd July to an unknown date in the month of October 2011. Burton had created the dress by using old craft techniques as well as hand made embroidery and lace.
Apart from the dress, the Cartier tiara, shoes, veil, earrings as well as the wedding cake will also be displayed at the palace for the public. A spokes person of Middleton has said that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to give an opportunity to the member of the public, to view the skilled British craftsmanship, that had went in to several elements of the royal wedding. Kate for the preparation of the wedding dress had worked closely with Burton.
