The showbiz is also shared by the television actors. While many of the actors had planned and announced their weddings, television actress Rashmi Desai too has tied the knot with her co-actor Nandish Sandhu.
The couple secretly got married in a town in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Rashmi and Nandish are known by their screen names Tapasya and Veer in the popular TV soap ‘Uttaran’.
The two got to know each other on the sets of the daily soap and had courted for a year before they decided to get married. Sandhu had accompanied Rashmi in many of the award functions along with his family.
The couple had rushed for the marriage as Sandhu’s grand mother was sick and wanted the two to get married early. When asked Rashmi, the actress said that the big party will be held by the end of the year or can also be postponed to next year. Television industry has become like a platform for the formations of love birds like Rashmi and Nandish. There are also eligible couples like Jai Bhanushali and Mahi Vij, Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra, and Rubina Dialik and Avinash Sachdev, who are also on the verge of announcing their wedding in near future.
