Japan has formally accepted the fact that it is running out of time to halt a major nuclear catastrophe, which could also turnout as the biggest in the history of mankind. The radiation has already spread in the surrounding regions and there has even been small amount of radiation detected in Tokyo.
If there is a major catastrophe coming towards the country’s way, then there would be a huge concern over the spread of radiation among the populated areas in Japan and its neighbouring countries. Reports have even shown, the radiation has reached Vladivostok in Russia, and plumes of nuclear smoke have been travelling in the sky above the Pacific sea.
Military personnel have now started to take matters in their own hand, as helicopters have begun pouring water over the reactor which has been emitting radiation. The cooling systems of the reactors were completely destroyed during the earthquake thus throwing the reactor core out of control.
Reports state if the reactor cores are not provided with enough coolants then they shall enter into the meltdown stages where they shall create an unbalanced radioactive chain reaction which shall become catastrophic. Currently two pairs of military helicopters have been deployed at the nuclear plant, who are air dropping water over the nuclear rods to cool them off.
