Anti-government rebels in Libya are facing the rage of Gaddafi’s forces on two fronts, as the situation in the region starts to deteriorate. Zawiya a town which is just 50 kms away from the capital Tripoli, was under fierce retaliation from the government forces, plus the rebels were fighting back in a very strict manner.
Zawiya was in flames as the forces rammed through the town to take over it, but later the rebels and government forces were claiming to have control over it. Another city which came under the rage of the government was Ras Lanuf a port city in the North.
More than a dozen of people were killed in the fierce gun battle between the two sides, yet the number of casualties is just a prediction. Muammar Gaddafi on the other hand has plans to replace a group of envoys in the cabinet, as they have turned against him. There were messages given to various media around the world stating all the people and forces within Tripoli are completely supporting Gaddafi and his regime.
