150,000 Gmail accounts were wiped out by Google accidentally during the past weekend and it has caused great inconvenience to many of the users who are regularly dealing with the Google based mail client. Many people have complained about their inboxes being completely formatted, wiping out many of their contacts, logos and important mails.
Google on the other hand is quite upset over the incident and it working hard to restore or even bring back the lost data of its customers. There were not many people who have been affected by this issue, but still many are having problems to even view their mail in a proper manner.
A total of only .08% of the Gmail users have been affected around the world, and the search engine giant’s engineers are working hard to retrieve the lost data of its members. Gmail today is one of the most used electronic mail service in the world, and such glitches in its system will surely have adverse affects on its customers.
