Los Angeles Dodgers baseball legend and hall of fame inductee, Duke Snider died at the age of 84 at a hospital in Escondido, California. He was a huge baseball star back in the 50’s and his career expanded up to 16 seasons and more than half a dozen world series. He was a well known figure in American baseball, and was an inspiration to almost everyone.
A veteran statement made by the Dodgers themselves reveal, he was one of the most feared hitters in the game of baseball. If his career achievements were to be accounted, he had a total of 389 home runs and 1,271 RBIs which is huge for a baseball player to achieve in his in entire career.
In the year 1980, Duke Snider was inducted in the Hall Fame, for he had achieved a lot in his career, and had brought a huge change in face of American baseball.
