Online gaming safety is the highlight of ‘Safer Internet Day’

Online gaming safety is the highlight of this ‘Safer Internet Day’, for Internet Safety has become one of the major issues in the teen world today. Safer Internet Centre, a US based Internet safety agency, is now urging parents to monitor their children, both teens and youngsters, in the online activity.

This year major web companies including Microsoft and Facebook have taken the initiative to join forces to spread the word of safe internet. Today China can be considered as an example, where porn sites and other obscene material has been strictly banned. This has ensured the safety of children’s mental and physical health in their nation.

Online games is one of the largest industries today, where 80-90% of the users are children between the age of 9-16 years. Parents should give special attention towards their children and monitor them on a regular basis, to check whether they are using the web is a safe manner.
