American conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, has now come under the fire of many American Asians and American Chinese in US, as he has been accused of mocking the Chinese President Hu Jintao. The radio host had made a very indecent gesture regarding the President on his radio show, where he even called him a “ChiCom dictator”.
The line spoke in context to the visiting Chinese President and created a wave of controversy by Limbaugh goes this way, “He was speaking and they weren’t translating. They normally translate every couple of words, but Hu Jintao was just going, ‘ching chong, ching chong, chong”. The first Chinese American in the congress, Representative David Wu, said this act by Rush is “pathetic childishness.”
Wu says that by such an act he not only ridicules Mr. Hu, but all the Chinese Americans and the 1.3 billion people in China. The representative at the Congress consider this as very childish and immature in nature. Hu is in America to bond better ties with the country, and it is looking that America too is working in that same direction, but distractions as such can prove quite unprofitable for the Americans one day.
