Shelley Malil, an actor who had starred in the movie ‘40 Year Old Virgin’ has been awarded a life sentence by the San Diego County Superior Court Judge, Harry Elias. The court sentenced him a lifer, three months after he was convicted of stabbing Kendra Beebe. Kendra is the ex-girlfriend of Shelley Malil and was lethally attacked by the actor in the year 2008.
The incident had taken place when Shelley had paid a surprise visit to Kendra at her San Marcos, California residence, where he allegedly found her with another man. At that very moment Shelley lost his temper reached towards a kitchen knife and stabbed her 23 times in an attempt to kill her, but she survived.
Kendra stood in court and testified against him and it is said that she had suffered stabbing wounds on her neck, chest, back and arms. Malil on the other hand was without words and he even said so, in addition to that he also showed despair over the fact that Kendra has undergone through too much pain and suffering because of him. But Kendra testified against him in the court, and the San Diego judge awarded him a life sentence without the possibility of parole at least for 14 years.
