TV reports show that West Indian cricketer Suleiman Benn and Australian players Brad Haddin and Mitchell Johnson got into an altercation on second day of the third Test between Australia and West Indies in Perth on Thursday.
Reports say that the alteraction began when Brad Haddin took off for a single, followign which Suleiman Benn (bowler) ran into Mitchell Johnson at the non-striker’s end. After getting stuck, video images show that both Johnson and Benn didn’t budge until the Australian crciketer let go and ran to the other side.
It didn’t stop there, the next ball later Brad Haddin was batting when he hit the ball straight at Benn who picked up the ball and threatened to throw it back at the stumps in an aggressive manner.
This resulted in Haddin and Benn getting into an argument and Haddin and Benn moving aggressively towards each other – all of which was caught on camera.
Are tempers flaring too much on the field these days?
