According to the sources, the US President Barack Obama wont be able to attend the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton which is scheduled sometime in April next year. One of the sources from the Royal house has stated that the President may not be able to make it, but the first lady would be there for sure.
It is really surprising to witness that President Obama would not be able to fetch out some time, to attend a royal wedding in the UK, which is taking place for the first time in almost three decades. To keep everyone’s heart at the royal kingdom, Michelle Obama would be there representing her husband.
CBS News contributor Neil Sean states ‘The story I’m getting already from insiders (in Buckingham Palace) is that we don’t actually anticipate the president to attend the wedding. But we do think, for that extra touch of glamour, the gorgeous Michelle Obama will be making an appearance. Quite who she brings remains to be seen. … I think what’s interesting is that they don’t really think that the president may want to attend, because of all the extra security: helicopters flying above, things like that. That may be a little bit more intrusive (than the Royal Family wants), I think.”
It seems that this time a Royal wedding will be taking place, but without the most prominent man of the US in their reception.
