The possible strike by the crew of the popular airline British Airways has created anxiety among passengers who may have their travel plans disturbed during this holiday season.
British Airways employees plan to strike on December 22 until January 2. This strike will affect atleast one million passengers who may have to deal with canned wedding plans, no vacations and being stranded in airport terminals when they should really be spending quality time with friends and family this Christmas.
This has resulted in some competitor airlines hiking their prices to almost 40% more in order to cash in on the increasing demand for seats across the Atlantic.
Reports say that Richard Branson’s Virgin Airlines is all set to increase the capacity of passengers on the plane.
