In the latest news of the Aman Kachroo ragging case, a fast track court has convicted 4 senior students in connection with Aman’s death. It has been stated that these students are senior medical students and have a strong hand in the death of their Junior college-mate, Aman Kachroo. They are not charged with murder, but are convicted of playing a strong role his death.
These students can be liable to spend a maximum ten years in jail, but Aman’s parents dont care about the sentence, they just wanted that this crime was given proper justice. The court has found them guilty under the following sections – 304 II (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint) and 34 (common intention) of IPC.
Aman was a student at the Rajendra Prasad Medical College, where his seniors had allegedly ragged him, which amounted to his death on the 8th March 2009. The four students who have been convicted are as follows – Ajay Verma, Naveen Verma, Abhinav Verma and Mukul Sharma.
