Kristen Lee, wife of Major League player Cliff Lee, has said that she was harassed by some Yankees fans during the American League Championship Series game at the Yankees Stadium. It has been reported that she was very unhappy after the way she was treated and harassed by some of the ill mannered New York Yankees fans.
It has been said that she was sitting and watching the game from the visiting family section at the Yankees Stadium, when allegedly some of the fans started to harass her verbally and physically. These ravage fans started to taunt her, threw beer cups at her and even spat on the section where she was sitting.
When asked about the experience she stated “When people are staring at you, and saying horrible things, it’s hard not to take it personal.” It is really sad to see such incidents happening in a peaceful game, and truly an immoral way to behave with a female. It is because of such people who come to watch the game, the atmosphere around becomes very uncomfortable and then slowly turns into a nuisance.
