In a hair raising incident, there were gunshots heard inside the Pentagon and the police have searched the building almost twice and have found nothing. It was one of the most shocking incident in America, as the Pentagon is considered to be one of the most secured buildings in the world. The gunshots were heard on Tuesday morning and had put the building on high alert.
The Police have thoroughly investigated the place and have found nothing to claim. The incident took place at 04.55 am local time, quite early in the morning, which means officers doing their night shifts were present in the building.
The gun shots were heard from the South Parking lot, and the police have locked down the area just to be sure. During the first search, the police found nothing, later the canine squad was brought in but still there was no luck. The police have still concluded that they have not found the source of these gunshots, and that the Pentagon has been reopened once again.
