In tense political incident in Mahbubnagar, Andhra Pradesh, TDP President, Chandrababu Naidu;s convoy has pelted by stones by TRS (Telangana Rashtra Samiti) activists. After the incident was over it was reported that some TDP activists and some media personnel have been injured. Same sort of situation prevailed in Parigi, where two activists were shouting slogans against Chandrababu Naidu, in support of Telangana, and the police had to chase them away.
During the convoy when the activists struck them, it has been reported that an SUV has been seriously damaged and also some media personnel. It has been reported that the TRS activists are demanding for the creation of the state of Telangana.
A Police constable stationed in the convoy too has been injured in the stone pelting. Contiuous tensions have been rising in the surrounding region of Andhra Pradesh, as groups like the TRS have been coming up with the proposition of the creation of Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh.
