The US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton has stated that the Koran Burning Ceremony proposed by the Dove World Outreach Center, Florida, is utterly disgraceful. It was after the statement made by the Church pastor that many Muslims came down on the streets and started to protest over the issue.
Mrs. Clinton was the senior most official to have spoken over this issue and has said that “heartened by the clear, unequivocal condemnation of this disrespectful, disgraceful act that has come from American religious leaders of all faiths.” According to the White House, they have stated that there will be a global outrage from the Muslim society that can be very dangerous to people.
The event has been planned on the September 11th, 2010, and if it commences on that day, there could even be violence from the Muslim society from all over the world. And worst of all it can hamper the safety of the US troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
