Shiney Ahuja’s case has got an altogether different look. His maid who had up till recently was firm with her claim that she had been raped by the actor has suddenly changed her statement and now she says that Ahuja never did anything like that to her.
The 20 year old maid now claims that she had been asked to do all this by the woman because of whom she had got the job at the actor’s place. The maid had formally lodged a complaint against Ahuja in June last year following his arrest on June 14. Shiney was released on bail after three months.
Public Prosecutor, Kashinath Dighe said, “On September 3, the victim identified Shiney in the court and said she used to work at his residence as a domestic help. But when asked about the incident she said it never happened and that she was never raped.”
If the recent claims of the maid are true then she can be punished for lying under oath.
