Tropical Storm Hermine Hits Texas, Starts To Weaken

Tropical storm Hermine has hit the South state of US, Texas and has now started to show signs of weakening. The storm made landfall in Mexico had brought very heavy rain and strong winds with it, at that time the storm system had sustained wind speeds of 105 kmph.

Hermine caused a moderate scale of devastation in the US and Mexico, as it forced many people in towns along the US-Mexico border to evacuate due to flash flooding. For the moment the storm system has sustained wind speeds of 85 kmph and is moving North Northwest towards a coastal town of Corpus Cristie.

As per the forecasts, the National Hurricane Center has stated that the storm system has begun to weaken by late Tuesday. The storm brought in heavy rain, flash flooding and mudslides in the southern region of Texas. Plus in addition to this, Hermine can also create tornadoes as it pushes through Texas.
