It was an utterly disgraceful act which was done to the former Prime Minister of UK, Tony Blair at the book signing in Dublin Ireland, when the crowd outside the book signing event started to pelt eggs on the ex-PM. The incident took place at Easons on the O’Connell Street, where Mr. Blair was scheduled to sign his new Autobiography book.

The culprits were some anti war protesters who even tried to break the security barrier outside the book shop, and then clashed with police stationed there. But fortunately none of the eggs managed to hit the ex-PM, and this was a good thing. There were as many as 300 people who were lined up outside the book shop to take an autograph of Mr. Blair on their copies of his Autobiography.
The book mentions about his life during his time at the Downing Street, the Iraq War, and Princess Diana. He even mentioned about the concerns that he had about the drinks he used to have and the tiff with his successor, Gordon Brown.
