The Janmashtami festival 2010 has been on of the most important festivals in the Hindu community in India and all over the world. Krishna Janmashtami marks that birth of the lord Krishna, who had ended the atrocities of his Uncle Kansa. This is a festival that is celebrated all over India and specially in North India and Maharashtra. In Maharashtra people mark this festival by arranging the dahi handi event, in which people make a human pyramid and try to break the handi (pot) that has been kept on a high elevation.
