In a sensational break through by the Mexico police on Monday, as they successfully were able to nab the drug lord, Edgar Valdez Villarreal ‘La Barbie’. The Mexican authorities stated that they have successfully arrested him, as he was one of the most wanted men in Mexico, and was responsible for supplying most of the Cocaine into America.
Edgar Valdez Villarreal is also known as ‘La Barbie’ was arrested just on the outskirts of the Mexico City.He is the third major drug trafficking kingpin to held in the past eight months. The military had killed Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Cornel in July and Arturo Beltran Leyva was killed by the Mexican marines in the month of December.
Major Mexican officials stated that this is a fine example if Mexico’s intelligence and security towards the country. For Mexico, Edgar capture is nothing less than a major breakthrough and strong success.
