Solange Magnano, a model and former Miss Argentina died after undergoing plastic surgery at a Buenos Aires clinic.
The model had a gluteoplasty which involves inserting implants into the buttocks to tone up her derriere.
The 38 year old Solange and mother of 8 year old twins suffered from pulmonary embolism. She became critical for three days and finally passed away on Sunday.
This current fascination with making the body look perfect has raised serious questions about the way women are perceived in the world.
Sources say that Solange wanted to get a body like that of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian and hence went in for the surgery – which she thought would make her look a lot more appealing.
