Sources have stated that the drilling process to build a shaft to rescue the trapped Chile miners will commence from Monday. The authorities have taken a strong step now to get the 33 trapped miners out of the underground mine. But there is a point of worry now, the drilling of some 700 meters into the mine and then get the miners out safely will take a mind boggling three to four months.
It has been a long time now for the miners who are trapped underground, as they got stuck there on the 5th of August. To help speed up the plans of the rescue operations, a team from NASA will be coming in to help the rescue authorities. NASA has specialized in helping people live in isolated conditions, both physically and mentally, and has also said that the isolation in space and underground is not very much different.
On the other hand, the miners showed good signs of health and activity, as they spoke to the people through a small camera probe sent down from a bore hole. For the moment people are worried how will the miners spend three to four months in the mine below, without basic human interaction and isolation.
