The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has started the sale of registration forms for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2010. It sale of the forms will start from Monday, August 30, 2010 and will continue till September 27, 2010. But the registration’s official last date is September 30, 2010.
CAT examination is the entrance exam for the admissions in all the IIMs spread over in India and also in some other top business schools. The Indian Institute of Management is considered the most prestigious management institutes in India and it is very tough to crack the CAT, which every year keeps on increasing its level.
As far as the examination is concerned, Himanshu Rai, the Convenor Prefessor of IIM, Lucknow said, ”The exams will be conducted from October 27 to November 24, 2010, while the results will be declared on January 12, 2011.”
The registration forms are available from select Axis Bank branches for Rs 1,400, for General Quota, whereas, for SC/ST candidates the cost of the form is Rs 700.
