Google has done it again, and it has once again it has managed put itself on the court controversy once more. Google has shown the disputed region of PoK as a whole part of Pakistan on the Google Insights website. This something that is bad from the part of Google. Insights is tool that shows search volume according the world region on a map and this map consists that the region of PoK is in Pakistan.
This is not the first time that Google has landed itself in PoK controversy, some months back it did the same thing on some other website. What Google can do is that it can show this region as a disputed region of India and Pakistan, why to play foul.
In the year 2005 it made history when on Google Earth, it showed that there was no official boundary on the PoK and the whole region was visible in the map of Pakistan when viewed and not in India. Even by the political view India still counts on this region and has 25 assembly seats reserved for this region. The Times of India has emailed Google India on this issue, and Google India has stated that it will alert the product group for further action.
