The Maharashtra government has decided to move to the Bombay High Court against the verdict of a lower court on two 26/11 accused. The two accused have been placed under the count that they have shared conspiracy in carrying through the 26/11 attacks.
The accused Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed, have been acquitted by the lower court on the trail hearing on the 3rd of May, stating that the evidence against the duo is relatively doubtful. Both the men are accused in participating and doing conspiracy against India in the attack of 26/11.
On the other had a bench of lawyers are getting together to challenge the verdict of death sentence pronounced on Ajmal Kasab. Ajmal Kasab has been charged of killing some 166 people along with nine of his accomplices. Faheem here has been accused of drawing maps to guide the attackers into the city and helping them to carry out the deadly attack. Sabauddin had helped in passing on the maps to the LeT who carried the attack.
