Another gruesome attack in Afghanistan, in which gunmen killed eight Christian medical aid workers who were doing their work in the remote north east part of Afghanistan. The local Police officials have stated that Taliban terrorist group has taken the responsibility of this attack.
The Christian medical aid group stated that their group was travelling in the remote are of north east Afghanistan, in the region of Nuristan. This aid group was travelling with a mobile eye clinic to provide free aid to the people of that region, after finishing their job they were heading back to Kabul, during which the gunmen attacked the mobile eye clinic.
Police officials have stated that Taliban has taken the responsibility of the attack. Zabhullah Mujahid the spokesperson of Taliban has stated that they have been responsible for this attack and that they have also found a Bible in an undisclosed location from some foreigners, which has been translated into the local language of Dari. The dead include five men and three women who had been slain by the Talibani gunmen.

Let’s examine this statement. They had GPS systems and were lost? Not likely. They tried to escape? Possibly, when they knew you were going to shoot defenseless humanitarians. Could they have simply used the GPS systems to find their destination? First you claim they are lost then you claim they have the skill to use their GPS to report Taliban fighter positions. What, in between administering medical aid to the people?

The Taliban has claimed that it has killed eight foreigners and their two Afghan interpreters for spreading Christianity.
“These people were preaching Christianity and we punished them,” a Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid was quoted as saying.
