S.M. Krishna States, India Ready To Have Talks With Pakistan

The Indian Minister of External Affairs, Mr. S.M. Krishna has stated that India is ready to have talk with Pakistan and go step by step to improve its relation with the neighboring country. He spoke at the Rajya Sabha Question Hour, stating the the country should understand the India is not afraid of anything, and that we are ready to have genuine talks with Pakistan.

Mr. Krishna also made this point clear, that India will resume it talks with Pakistan, but then it will follow a step by step process, to move ahead in improving the relations with Pakistan. But then he stressed on stating that the cross border infiltration and hostilities needs to stop quickly.

He also spoke on the controversial statement made by the Home Secretary G.K. Pillai, at the time when Mr. Krishna was at a recent visit to Islamabad, saying that this is just a reflection of an image of what the LeT operative David Headley had unfolded to the FBI. He also said that Pakistan’s intelligence agency, ISI, had its role behind the 26/11 Mumbai blasts.
