Israel’s military would be cutting down more trees on the tense Israel-Lebanon border, as both the countries were engaged in the tensest war in the past four years. The countries fought an intense war recently over a dispute of one Cypress tree.


Israel in a move to improve its sight lines on Lebanon, had been pruning and cutting trees along the border, but the peaceful move turned violent when both the countries started to claim one Cypress tree as their own. As arguments increased, Lebanon opened fire and Israel retaliated, as result one Israeli officer and two lebenon soldiers died in the incident.
The dispute arose when Israel wanted chop of the tree, and as per the officials the tree fell in Israel’s territory. But a photograph taken by the Associated Press shows, that an Israeli soldier standing on a crane was trying to reach over the fence towards the tree on the Lebanon side, this was the main cause of the violence.
