Indian High Court rejects Bail of All 4 accused In Aman Kachroo Ragging Case

The bail that was granted to all the four accused in the Aman Kachroo ragging case at Dharamshala court, has been rejected by the High Court of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, reasoning that the bail at this stage cannot be granted to any of the accused.

The accused have been asked to report at the Dharamshala trial court on Thursday, July 29, 2010. The trial would be held daily without a gap, and no unneeded adjournments will be allowed during the trials, informed Justice D D Sood.

Aman Kachroo was a student of Tanda Medical College and was studying in the first year. The ragging took place in March 2009, and Aman succumbed to the injuries that caused him from ragging.

The accused were granted bail after 16 months of their jail term on July 17, 2010 by a Kangra court.
