Bus Blast In Afghanistan Kills 25 Injures 20

It has been confirmed that 25 people have been killed and 20 have been injured in a bus bomb blast which took place, when the bus carrying passengers in them went and hit a roadside bomb. According to the sources, the bus was travelling on the highway in the Nimroz province in South Afghanistan.

The bomb went off shortly after the NATO patrolling officers left that place. The Afghan Ministry stated that the bus hit an IED (improvised explosive device), which had been planted by the rebels. It was planted in a purpose to hit the coalition forces that was suppose to cross that area.

The NATO forces together with the Afghan authorities are cleaning up the area and helping in reaching the wounded to the hospital. Taliban spokesperson Zabihulla Mujahid stated that Taliban is not behind the attack, but NATO is, for they are trying to divert the attention of people from the Sangin incident.
