The Bharatiya Janata Party warned the Lok Sabha that they want adjournment motion so that they can discuss on the issues related to price rise. The BJP also claimed that if the Government disagreed on this then it will be the start of the new conflict.
BJP’s leader of the Lok Sabha said, “The Parliamentary Party of BJP today decided that we will stick to our demand for an adjournment motion to discuss the issue of price rise and hike in prices of fuel…, It is a serious issue related to the common man and anything less than an adjournment motion would not serve the purpose.”
BJP is planning to hold a debate on the issue of price rise in Rajya Sabha. They want to do it under Rule No. 168 which also involves voting. BJP also wants, one hour for ‘Question Hour’, to clear out things, if required.
