Mickey Pacheco Granted Bail in Nadia Torredo Death Case In Goa

Former Goan Tourism Minister Mickey Pacheco, has been granted bail by the local court in the context of the Nadia Torredo death case. The Margaon local court has provided him a bail, as he was admitted in the hospital last evening, after he complained of chest pain.

The court has granted him bail on a bond of Rs. 25000, and a surety of his release for the same amount. The 46 year NCP minister had surrendered before the court on the 3rd of July. The court has asked him not to leave the country and his passport has to be surrendered. He had been remanded 14 day in jail in connection with Torredo’s death case.

Pacheco has been charged under abatement to suicide, destruction of evidence and culpable homicide in connection with his friend Nadia Torredo, who had died on the 30th of May by consuming Rat poison.
