Tropical Storm Bonnie Enters Gulf Of Mexico – Intensity Weakens

As the tropical storm Bonnie, enters the Gulf of Mexico, BP has been forced to shut down their clean up process temporarily. News also came that the storm may regain its strength after it started to weaken on Friday. The Storm started to lose its energy as it moved over the state of Florida, but officials say, that the storm system could regain its energy as it enters the Gulf sea.

The tropical Storm Bonnie. is expected to bring heavy rain and rough seas in the Gulf of Mexico, as this is where the storm system would start to regain energy, as per the US National Hurricane Center in Miami.

No damages have been reported, and reports have come in that there are no chances of the storm to form into a Hurricane. This evacuation of from the clean up, could face the BP’s target towards August, by which they would have drilled a relief well, that would completely plug the leak from the well.
