Pakistan Prime Minister Gilani Reproves Clinton – Claims Pakistan Not Sheltering Laden, Mullah Omar

The Prim Minister of Pakistan, Yousuf Raza Gilani rebuked US State Secretary, Hillary Clinton’s statement by saying that Pakistan is neither sheltering Al-Qaeda’s Chief, Osama bin Laden and Taliban Chief, Mullah Omar nor it has any information regarding Laden’s and Omar’s whereabouts. Infact, Gilani stated that smallest information that the rest of the world has regarding them, should be shared with Islamabad.

Gilani said, “If anyone has any credible and verifiable information, it should be shared with the government of Pakistan.”

Clinton had said, “I’m not saying that they’re at the highest levels but I believe that somewhere in this government are people who know where Osama bin Laden and al-Qaida is, where Mullah Omar and the leadership of the Afghan Taliban is and we expect more cooperation to help us bring to justice, capture or kill, those who attacked us on 9/11.”

Clinton also believes that the US-Pakistan bond has not been too beneficial in regards of results against Al-Qaeda.
