The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a program that encourages the students to research in the fields of Engineering, Medicine and basic Science. KVPY is the initiative of the Government of India and the Department of Science and Technology. It was started in the year 1999.
The KVPY provides Fellowship to the students who are interested in pursuing their careers in the field of science. The fellowships are given to the students of standard 11, B.Sc, M.Sc, BE, B.Tech, B.Arch, MBBS. The Fellowship amount ranges from 4,000 – 7,000 and are open only to the Indian Citizens.
