The maker of the movie Lamhaa contradicted his own statement. Rahul Dholakiya, the director of Lamhaa had said that “Lamhaa is the unfold story of Kashmir” but it actually does not. Though he has taken some real life incidents for his flick but maybe for the commercial success or so he has given it a Bollywood touch, which ultimately loses the realistic approach.
The approach of the movie is very dull and is not very gripping. It keeps the viewers confused throughout the span of two hours.
The actors seem to unfit the characters they are projecting. Both the lead actors Sanjay Dutt and Bipasha Basu fail miserably to justify their roles.
The only saving grace of the movie is the music. The music composer Mithoon has returned with some good rendering songs. It tends to heal the loss that Dholakiya has given through the movie.
