The World famous talk show host – Oprah Winfrey – will be ending “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in 2011.
According to reports, Harpo Productions has announced that Oprah Winfrey is retiring from the show due to personal commitments.
Oprah will make an official announcement on Friday and reports say that the final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show will be aired in 2011.
In an official announcement to the media, Tim Bennett, the President of Harpo Productions said: ” Tomorrow, Oprah will announce live on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ that she has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs intelevision history. The sun will set on the ‘Oprah’ show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011.”
Oprah Winfrey has been the favorite talk show host in the 80’s and throughout the 90’s with her charm and honesty that was loved by viewers across the world. The show began in 1985.
