The Foreign Minister of India S M Krishna and Pakistan Shah Mahmood Quereshi in their recent meeting on Thursday July 15 discussed on strengthening the mutual ties between the two nations and also to take some strong actions against the culprits involved in the terror attacks on India on 26/11 on the basis of the information provided by Headly, one of the main brains behind the attacks.
The recent meeting is the second, between the Foreign Ministers that was held in Islamabad after the 26/11 attack.
Before this meeting, Abdul Basit Foreign Office Spokesperson had informed that the meeting would not focus on the particular topic but would include everything that has to be worked upon and Kashmir issue will definitely be included in the meeting.
Basit said,
“Kashmir is the core issue between the two countries which should be resolved.” Positive results are expected from these talks.
The Indian Foreign Minister would be meeting the Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousuf Raza Gilani and also the President Asif Ali Zardari before leaving for India.
