Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of Indian cricket team becomes the highest paid cricketer ever, after signing a $44 million deal with Rhiti Sports Management and Advertising Agency.
M.S. Dhoni signed a two year and a $44 million deal with Rhiti that will look after all his endorsements, social networking sites, corporate profile, digital rights and brand association.
Sanjay Pandey, general manager for Rhiti sports said, “We have entered into a two-year contract with Dhoni for 2 billion rupees. We have signed the contract a week back. We will be handling Dhoni’s endorsements”.
The Indian skipper endorses for brands like, PepsiCo, Reebok, Aircel and Godrej. All in all he is a brand ambassador for 22 brands.
The endorsements of R.P. Singh and Harbhajan Singh are also taken care of by Rhiti Sports Management and Advertising Agency.
The deal overtook $40 million contract of Sachin Tendulkar with Iconix Sports Management Company.
