The FBI, today stated on the subject of the 26/11, that the main reason that the whole terrorist plan was successfully initiated, is because of the initial defense of the Mumbai Police against the assault that terrorists had done. According to some reports, some of the officers on duty, didn’t even carry weapons.
US’s top invetigation agency, the FBI, has pointed out that during the attacks, the Indian forces, didnt even have sophisticated gadgets and equipments to intercept the communication that was taking place between the terrorist and their handlers who were in Pakistan.
The stated that, the Mumbai police had not been carrying weapons during the attacks, was a big reason that led the terrorist kill people on the train station, the five-star hotels, and a jewish center. Sergent Alan Matas, of the FBI stated that half of the Police force were unarmed during the initial assault, and it was clearly seen as a half battle. If something like this would have happened in the US, the police force would have responded in a more organized manner.
