The mass housing project by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) at Ulwe have made their forms available from today at all railway stations in Navi Mumbai – apart from the Turbhe and Seawoods stations. The forms will also be available at all branches of Thane Janata Sahakari Bank(TJSB). The cost of the application form is Rs.50.
A bank official of TJSB said,“The applicants can collect the form from railway stations, but they will have to submit it along with the required documents and demand draft at a TJSB branch, The form will be available in all our branches across the state. Also, the bank is providing loan scheme for applicants, wherein the earnest money deposit (EMD) will be financed by the bank at nominal charges.”
TJSB has three branches in Vashi, Panvel, Airolo in the Navi Mumbai area.
About the project, a Cidco official said, “We are charging as per the government directives on carpet area. The forms will be available from July7 to August 4 and the filed forms will be accepted from July14 to August 16.”
The township is tentatively going to take 18 months more to complete.
The mass housing project at Ulwe is mainly for the middle income group (MIG). It has 1,344 tenements in it.
