The Eligible bachelor and one of the most successful captains of India, Mahendar Singh Dhoni, is finally married to Sakshi Singh Rawat.

Mahendra Singh Dhon, 29, got engaged to his girlfriend, 21, at a secret location in Dehradun on Saturday and got married today.

He was linked with couple of bollywood actresses in the past, but it is official, he is Sakshi Singh Rawat’s man.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s engagement was a low key affair where only his family members and a few close friends were present. It is learned that Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan singh were also present.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sakshi Singh Rawat had been old friends and both families have known each other for a long time.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the very first Indian cricketer who was awarded the ICC ODI (One Day International) Player of the Year award consecutively in 2008 and in 2009. He was also awarded India’s fourth highest civilian honor the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in the last year itself.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is currently on a break from professional commitments and will be back on July 18 when India takes on Sri Lanka in a three-Test match series.
