Facebook Will Help Tag Photos On Face Recognition

The testing for the face detection technology has already been started by the Facebook for its photos.

The new feature will help decrease the lenghty and tedious process of tagging friends in Facebook.

The current Photo feature are:

The user has to upload photos, tag each photo separately untill the whole album is tagged. If the album is large enough the the process actually becomes boring.

This is the reason why Facebook has come up with the idea of face detection technology that will by itself tag the photos after recognizing them.

The only thing that the users will need to do is answer the Facebook prompt, ‘Whose face is this?’

The face detection technology is the same as that of the most digital cameras use.

This feature will be one of the many, that the Facebook will be introducing in the near future.

Facebook is a social networking website that helps people find friends, add them and message them.

Facebook has features like ‘Wall’, it is the user profile page where one can post messages.

‘Photos’, all one has to do is upload their photos to share them with the friends and the list of the feature goes on.

This is not a good idea at all! facebook is going to loose people (subscribers) because people are very very wary of this technology. This is a guise to be helpful but who is facebook sharing the information with law enforcement? face recognize technology shouldnt be used on any public site it should be restricted to those that want to use the technology as security for their personal computers only.
