Lately there’s been a few rumours swirling about Jessica Simpson. Porn, strait to dvd and endorsements are but few.

The porn rumour was semi-confirmed when her father and manager, Joe, stated that Jessica has been offered a role but that they had turned it down. “We were promised we would win an Oscar with that,” Joe told People. “I was like: ‘We’ll just buy a statue of a little man and keep our clothes on.’” Ends up the role was to PLAY a porn star, not act in a porn movie.

Next rumour up is that her latest film, “Blonde Ambition”, will go straight to dvd without a theatrical release. The reason? Seems some anon source stated that Jessica’s acting was ‘horrible.’ This rumour started floating not long after an official trailer for the film was leaked to the internet in May. A representative for Simpson completely denied that the movie would not be released in theatres.

Lastly is her rumoured celebrity endorsement of TrimWater. Seems she took an equity deal in exchange for the endorsement. Guess she’s pinning her hopes on a repeat of the $400 million VitaminWater deal with Coca-Cola.

Rod Stewart’s son is accused, again, of assaulting someone. This time he’s being taken to court for assault, battery, false imprisonment, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress by Daniel Refoua.

Refoua, who suffered a fractured nose and other injuries claims that Stewart, his bodyguard and others attacked him outside Hollywood’s LAX nightclub in January.

This accusation comes a couple of months after Stewart was arrested for in an attack on a couple outside a Hollywood couple. The complaint alleges that Stewart, along with others, attacked the couple in their truck by punching them and throwing bricks at them.

Stewart was arrested and released on $60,000. bond and is required to attend a hearing on August 6 on felony charges. Stewart’s lawyer, Peter J. Korn alleges that the incident was “financially motivated.”

Sean Stewart, one of the stars of Sons of Hollywood”, an A&E reality show, is the son of singer Rod Stewart and his ex-wife Alana Stewart.

Scary Spice, Melanie Brown, was in court yesterday. She wants her baby’s daddy to stand up and pay up. Brown is suing Eddie Murphy for child support for Angel Murphy Brown, who she claims is Murphy’s child. She is also suing for sole custody.

Murphy took a paternity test in June and Brown claims that it proved paternity but now it needs to be legally established. Brown and Murphy dated for four months in 2006 when Brown became pregnant. Murphy had previously stated that he wasn’t sure the baby was his resulting in the need for DNA testing.

This is the 2nd child for Brown and the 6th for Murphy.

Murphy’s engagement to film producer Tracey Edmunds was announced last week by Edmunds executive assistant.

It was also announced that The Spice Girls will be reuniting for a tour that is scheduled to begin later this year.

Nicole Ritchie has finally admitted that she is indeed pregnant. After months of rumors circulating about her baby bump, Ritchie told Diane Sawyer of ABC that she is 4 months along. She also confirmed that her boyfriend, Joel Madden of the group Good Charlotte is the father.

She also discussed her recent guilty plea to driving under the influence that resulted in a sentence of 4 days in jail, a fine of $2,048 and mandatory drug and alcohol rehab.

It was also announced that Ritchie’s reality show with pal, Paris Hilton has been cancelled after 5 seasons. Sources stated that the network felt that the girls real lives were overshadowing the t.v. show as the reason for the shows cancellation.
